Expect a ton of fun games inspired by your favourite shows from one of London’s premier short-form improv groups!

About Us

Gämez are a short-form improv collective which has been performing since 2018. We focus on bringing high energy, big characters and lots of fun through a polished short-form improv set and want to wave the flag for performance short-form. We have performed multiple times at the Camden and Brighton Fringe Festivals, as well as performing at the Copenhagen Improv Festival. We perform regularly in London and now run our own monthly night. And we're best buds outside of rehearsal time too!

About Us

Improbotics was co-created by AI and robotics researchers Piotr Mirowski (UK/France/Poland) and Kory Mathewson (Canada) in 2016, later joined by drama director Jenny Elfving (Sweden), science communicator Ben Verhoeven (Belgium) and communications and digital media expert Boyd Branch (US), and has a large cast of professional actors based around London, Stockholm, Montréal/Edmonton and Antwerp.
Artificial Intelligence Improvisation was performed by HumanMachine (Piotr Mirowski & Kory Mathewson) at Edinburgh Fringe in 2017. Colin Mochrie reviewed our show: “Kory and Piotr boldly and hilariously go where no one has ever gone before: actual artificial intelligence improv. I will stick with artificial stupidity.”
Since then, we have performed in a variety of places, including theatres such as the Gilded Balloon Teviot (Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2023), Attenborough Arts Centre (Leicester Comedy Festival 2022), The Cockpit Theatre (Camden Fringe 2021), The Warren (Brighton Fringe 2021 and 2019), Rotunda Theatre (Brighton Fringe 2022 & 2023), The Scottish Storytelling Centre (Edinburgh International Improv Festival 2020), The Rich Mix (Voilà ! Europe Festival 2019), international improv festivals in Amsterdam (2019), Improfest Göteborg (2019, 2022), Würzburg (2019), Uppsala (2020), as well as museums: NRW Forum Düsseldorf (2018), Zürich Kunsthalle (2018), Art AI Festival (2018, 2019, 2021), Sofia Toplitsentrala (2022).
