Festival founder Neil has been teaching and performing improv both in Ireland and internationally for many years and his signature show, Neil+1, has been performed in festivals and theatres around the world. Neil is also a director of Improv Utopia International. He also founded and co-runs the The Improv Playground and is a co-founder of No Drama Theatre.
Neil has also guested in numerous shows including Orange Tuxedo, improvised musical When X Meets Y, Upstairs Downton, Comedysportz San Jose and Second City Toronto.
Neil also provides key corporate training solutions through improv to many well known organisations and educational institutes.
This is Niamh and Holly (pictured right). Niamh does improv and likes it. Holly has done improv once and kinda liked it. Niamh will be at Improv Fest Ireland doing lots of important things. Holly will not be at Improv Fest Ireland.
Niamh performs in a number of Dublin improv groups including Legs Eleven and Robin De Neuro.
Quinton O’Reilly is a performer, producer, and teacher based in Dublin, Ireland. He has been a member of the Improv Fest Ireland team since 2016 and is involved in both performing and organising shows across Dublin.
He is a cast member of Ghost Stories: A Devised Tale of Horror which has sold out multiple shows in under 24 hours and was described as ‘stunning theatrical long-form improv’ by the Irish Times. He is also a cast member of the MOB Theatre group Kiss Your Dinner, and he has performed across Ireland, Europe, and the US.
Other work include producing Secret Secrets Shh! (Dublin Fringe Festival 2024), and puppeteering for Coffee Kid (Dublin Fringe Festival 2022, and Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2023).
At home, he is a co-founder of The Playground, which provides accessible, drop-in improv workshops for anyone to play in, as well as Clubhouse, a monthly show which hosts new and experienced improv groups as well as slots for individual players to perform.
Chris looks after all the tech wizardy for the festival. Coming from a theatre background, he delights is making light and sound an extra performer in any cast!
Christina is originally from Germany but is now based in Dublin. When she is not performing on stage, she is an avid diver and underwater photographer.
