Triple Bill Of Improv

murder inc 🇺🇸

Every night, it's a raucous, improvised, made-to-order murder with Murder Inc. - where the audience chooses the setting, the characters, and even motives. After 10 years of sold-out shows in the North of England, Murder Inc is thrilled to be part of this festival. Come see the show that our audiences on TripAdvisor say 'had me crying with laughter', 'is just awesome', and that 'everyone should check out'. One lucky detective even takes home a 'prize'

Presents Eagerly Waiting

Eagerly Waiting is an improvised theatre performance by Maro Lesioti and Gabriel Caropreso exploring intimacy, absence, and longing in a world shaped by distance. Set across three stage spaces—two grounded in “real life” and one poetic, imagined “virtual space.” The performance moves fluidly through nonlinear time, where memories, projections, and desire overlap. Through live composition, shadow, and spatial separation, the work examines how connection is built, sustained, and undone.

About Us

Coffee & Cigarettes Collective, founded by Maro Lesioti (Greece) and Gabriel Caropreso (Brazil), was born out of an urgent artistic encounter at the Irreverente Festival in Lisbon, where a shared vision around intimacy, distance, and political presence sparked an immediate need to collaborate. This impulse became the seed of Eagerly Waiting, a performance born from the very theme it explores: the possibility of forging deep connection across distance.

Since July 2025, the two artists have been working as co-directors and performers, developing the project both as a duet and through parallel rehearsals with two ensembles: one based in Athens and one in São Paulo, each consisting of approximately five performers. Throughout the process, the work has been tested, performed, and reshaped in multiple configurations (duet, trio, quartet, and larger ensembles), allowing the methodology and dramaturgical “sheet” of the performance to be stress-tested across bodies, cultures, and scales.

This bi-continental methodology transforms rehearsal itself into an artistic and cultural experiment, generating a polyphonic body of work that challenges monovocal narratives and reflects distinct social, cultural, and political contexts. The project culminated in a mutual global premiere on December 9th, 2025, performed simultaneously in Athens and São Paulo.

Eagerly Waiting is now entering a new phase: it is planned to tour Europe as a duet with Maro Lesioti and Gabriel Caropreso in March-April 2026, has been accepted at SWIMP Festival 2026, and will be presented as a full season in Athens and São Paulo starting September 2026, continuing its investigation into connection, absence, and shared authorship across borders.
