Troupe/Team or Work-In-Progress Applications
For troupes/teams, we have 2 categories; Established Acts and Work In Progress. This is the application form for both categories. (Individual/Mixer Team applications will open later in April)
Category 1: Established Acts
Please select this category if you are with a troupe that is already established. E.G. you are an existing troupe or a troupe you take to festivals etc. You might be doing something new for the festival, or maybe it's your existing format but as long as your troupe is already established this is the category to select.
Category 2: Work In Progress
For this category, we want to hear from troupes who have yet to perform together or have a show that is a work in progress. Maybe you have an idea for a show and you can work on it between now and the festival. Or maybe you want to set up a troupe and need a goal to help get you organised. Or maybe you have always wanted to perform with some friends in a one off show. We don't need a fully fledged proposals here, all we want is two things: Your concept and your commitment you can have it ready for the stage come November.
Individual/mixer Team Applications
For this year's festival we will once again be hosting Mixer Teams. Applicants apply as an Individual and if selected, will be put in a mixer team with other improvisers. Each mixer team is appointed a Coach who will facilitate a rehearsal session in advance of your show and be your point of contact. Mixer teams will have time and space to rehearse at certain times during the festival. Mixer performance slots are 20-25 minutes and team size is capped to ensure stage time for everyone.
Teams are selected by weighted lottery to ensure diversity is best represented where possible.
