This workshop uses viewpoints (Anne Bogart and Tina Landau) to be the drawing point for improvisational theatre. In the workshop we will explore the possibilities of time (tempo, kinesthetic response, duration, repetition) and space (spatial relations, shape, gesture, architecture, repetition) in creating theatre. We will apply viewpoints to scene work, stage images, character work, physical and abstract theatre and the overall approach to storytelling in improvisation. Expect to move a lot!
